예원예술대학교 고광모 총장, 외국어연수과정 어학당 방문... 외국인 유학생 격려

- 방글라데시·네팔 등 유학생 30명, 겨울학기 연수 구슬땀 

- 모집부터 학부 진학까지 ‘원스톱(One-Stop) 프로그램’으로 유학생 만족도 높여

[2026년 3월 3일] 예원예술대학교(총장 고광모)는 3일 화요일, 교내 어학당을 방문해 외국어연수과정에 참여 중인 외국인 유학생들을 격려하고 소통하는 시간을 가졌다.

이번 겨울학기 외국어연수과정에는 방글라데시와 네팔 국적의 유학생 30명이 참여하고 있으며, 학생들은 영어 습득과 한국 문화 이해를 위해 매일 강도 높은 수업 일정을 소화하고 있다.

이날 고광모 총장은 직접 강의실을 찾아 타국에서 학업에 정진하고 있는 학생들의 애로사항을 청취하고 따뜻한 격려의 메시지를 전달했다. 총장의 깜짝 방문과 격려에 학생들은 밝은 미소와 환호로 화답하며 학업에 대한 의지를 다졌다.

현재 예원예술대학교는 외국인 유학생들을 위해 ‘D-4-7 외국어연수과정’을 운영 중이다. 

특히 유학생 모집부터 체계적인 학생 관리, 그리고 수료 후 학부 과정 진학까지 연계되는 ‘원스톱(One-Stop) 프로그램’을 구축하여 유학생들이 안정적으로 국내에 정착하고 학업에 집중할 수 있는 최적의 환경을 제공하고 있다.

고광모 총장은 “낯선 환경에서도 꿈을 향해 정진하는 유학생들의 열정이 대단하다”며 “우리 대학의 체계적인 관리 시스템을 통해 이들이 글로벌 인재로 성장하고, 나아가 본교 학부 과정에서도 우수한 성과를 낼 수 있도록 전폭적인 지원을 아끼지 않겠다”고 밝혔다.

한편, 예원예술대학교는 앞으로도 다양한 국적의 유학생 유치를 확대하고, 맞춤형 교육 프로그램을 강화해 글로벌 캠퍼스로서의 위상을 높여나갈 계획이다.

[YANGJU, March 3, 2026] – President Kwang-Mo Ko of Yewon Arts University visited the university’s Language Institute on Tuesday, March 3, to meet and encourage international students currently enrolled in the Foreign Language Training Program.

The winter semester program includes 30 international students from Bangladesh and Nepal. These students are participating in daily intensive English language and culture classes to prepare for their academic journey in Korea.

During the visit, President Ko personally entered the classrooms to listen to the students' experiences and offer words of support. The students responded with great enthusiasm, expressing their appreciation for the President’s warm encouragement and personal interest in their studies.

Yewon Arts University currently operates a specialized ‘D-4-7 Foreign Language Training Program.’ A key strength of the university’s international strategy is its ‘One-Stop Program,’ which provides a seamless transition for students. This comprehensive system manages everything from initial recruitment and student welfare to academic counseling for those wishing to progress into undergraduate degree programs.
