Yewon Arts University Holds Orientation for New International Students for the 2026 Academic Year

- Over 700 international students enrolled for the March 2026 semester, strengthening global campus status

(March 3, 2026) — Yewon Arts University (Acting President) held a "Tuesday Group Orientation" for new international students for the Spring 2026 semester at the university auditorium on March 3rd.

For the first semester of 2026, approximately 700 international students from diverse backgrounds—including Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Vietnam, Mongolia, and Nepal—enrolled at Yewon Arts University, solidifying the institution's position as a global hub for arts education.

To accommodate the large number of incoming students, the university is conducting daily group orientations to ensure a smooth transition into campus life. The program focused on essential information for international students, such as:

• University Introduction and Academic Calendar

• Part-time Work (Employment) Regulations

• Immigration Control Act and Compliance

During the session, Jung Jae-yeop, Dean of the Department of International Management, personally introduced the academic structure and major curriculum, encouraging students' academic passion. Subsequently, Professor Kim Se-young provided a detailed briefing on the Immigration Control Act and visa maintenance requirements, which are critical for international students living in Korea.
